Koala Cherries employ people for picking, packing and other various seasonal roles from November to January.

Cherry picking requires a good level of health and fitness. Cherries are all picked by hand with pickers wearing picking buckets and climbing ladders to reach the fruit. Hats, sunscreen, long sleeves and water bottles are recommended. Cherries are picked from daybreak, finishing before extreme afternoon heat.

A variety of jobs are available every year in the packing shed including cherry sorting, carton preparation, forklift operation and quality control. The packing shed can operate 7 days a week all season.
